Focus only on your have- to’s

It is easy to get overwhelmed in a day with a new baby or when your pregnant and can’t move so fast. Nothing puts a speed bump in your day like pregnancy and childbirth. You may feel frustrated at the speed you can do things or how little you can actually get done. Taking care of a baby human is hard work. One technique therapists recommend is focusing on only your half to’s in a day and let the rest go for now.

What are the have- to’s?

Are the people in your house fed?

Does everyone have some clean clothes or at least those who need clean clothes, do they have them?

If you are covering the basics, you are doing a lot. If it is helpful and you are feeling overwhelmed, try to focus on only the have-to’s.
