Mammha App Chat Rules and Guidelines
The Mammha App’s mission is to create the gold standard of maternal mental health care so that every mother, birthing person, and family thrives. Your Mammha App Chats include Mammha Users from a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, so please be sensitive, inclusive, and kind. These Mammha App Chat Guidelines are to ensure that all Mammha Users can participate in the conversation freely and safely.
Safety
Mental Health Shaming:  Here, all Mammha Users are celebrated on their journey towards their most authentic selves. This means refraining from demeaning and/or disrespectful language related to gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental dis/ability, race, class, religion, or life choices, including those of a financial, employment, parenting, or mental health-related nature.

Hateful Conduct:  Even when you disagree with your fellow Mammha User, be respectful. Mammha App has a zero-tolerance policy against promoting violence, threatening, or harassing other people, or inciting other people to do so. Remember the golden rule and treat others in this space as you’d like to be treated.

Self-Harm: The Mammha App isn’t intended to replace professional support. If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or crisis, call 911, visit your local emergency room, or text 988 for confidential support. 988 can connect individuals who are in crisis to counselors over text.

Sensitive Media, Including Violence and Adult Content: Remember that your Mammha App Chats should be a welcoming and comfortable place for everyone. Don’t post media that includes violence, nudity, or other adult content.

Illegal or Certain Regulated Goods or Services: The Mammha App was designed to help people meet their wellness goals. You may not use the Mammha App for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities.

In-Person Meetups: Your Mammha App Chats are a place to find encouragement and support! However, the Mammha App can’t moderate and isn’t responsible for in-person meetups.
Privacy
Private Information: If it isn’t yours, don’t share it! You may not post, threaten to post, or encourage others to post other people’s private information, including their name, mailing address, email address, phone number, or place of employment.
Authenticity
Spam: You may not use the Mammha App in a manner that manipulates or disrupts other people’s experience of the Mammha App (this goes for endorsing political preferences as well).

False Identities: Be yourself! You may not impersonate others, including individuals, groups, or organizations.

Generated Media:  Technology is amazing, but sometimes people use it to hurt or deceive others. You may not share generated or manipulated media that are likely to cause harm.

IP: Use what’s yours. You may not violate others’ intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark.

Third-Party Advertising or Selling of Goods and Services: Your Mammha App Chats are a place for sharing, not selling. You may not post or display any content that includes third-party advertising or promote the selling of goods and services.
How We Make Changes to our Mammha App Chat  Guidelines
We may change the Mammha App Chat Guidelines from time to time and if we do, we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use the Mammha App after those changes are in effect, you agree to abide by the Mammha App Chat Guidelines.

Moderation: If Mammha App determines that any content, behavior, or member violates our Mammha App Chat Guidelines, we will take whatever steps we deem appropriate to moderate the situation, including but not limited to removing or modifying your content, taking legal action, or terminating your access to the Mammha App.
