Mammha Joins MMHLA’s first Technology Council

Mammha is proud to have joined MMHLA's newly established Technology Council.
Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance (MMHLA) is a nonpartisan 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the mental health of mothers and childbearing people in the United States with a focus on national policy and health equity.
Members of the Technology Council and MMHLA's senior leadership team meet quarterly to exchange information, knowledge, and expertise related to the field of maternal mental health with a specific focus on digital behavioral health.
Mammha Partners with March of Dimes to Revolutionize Perinatal Mental Health Support

Mammha Receives Funding from the American Heart Association Social Impact Funds to Propel Perinatal Mental Health Innovations

This support, awarded on June 5th, 2024, will enable Mammha to expand its innovative mental health services and reach parents and providers across the nation.

HHS Racial Equity in Postpartum Care Challenge Winner!
To address maternal health disparities, the HHS Office on Women’s Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services launched the HHS Racial Equity in Postpartum Care Challenge. This $1.8 million national competition was developed to improve equity in postpartum care for Black or African American and AI/AN women enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Medicaid covers 42 percent of all births, with two-thirds of births to Black or African American and AI/AN women ensuring quality healthcare for delivery and the postpartum period and Mammha was one of 25 winners.
Mammha HITLAB BTA Winner Spring 2022!

The BTA is a digital health consortium which was created to accelerate a greater number of innovations to improve health outcomes and care delivery through verified emerging technologies. The finalists were selected based on innovation, scalability, sustainability and impact of their solution. There were hundreds of applications from around the world. Each was reviewed and scored by a panel of independent judges and Breakthrough Board Members and Mammha was selected as the winner!
HITLab Women in Health Technology Challenge Winner!

Mammha was honored to be the Pre-Seed category winner in HitLab’s WHT Challenge in December 2021. The finalists were selected based on impact, sustainability, innovation, feasibility, and quality of work of their solution.
DC Health Innovation QuickFire Challenge Winner!
September, 2021
Mammha won Johnson & Johnson’s Washington DC QuickFire Challenge to address maternal mortality. Innovators from across the globe were invited to submit potential science and technology solutions aiming to address racial and socioeconomic disparities that impact health in communities like the District of Columbia. Potential solutions had to include innovations that aimed to transform patient outcomes in maternal mortality, cardiovascular diseases, and systemic autoimmunity, and kidney diseases.
