NICU

For moms with babies in the NICU, or moms whose babies have been discharged from the NICU:

Hand to Hold: 

  • They have groups for:

    • Families who have babies in the NICU, or have babies that have graduated from the NICU

    • Black Families with babies in the NICU

    • Groups in Spanish

    • NICU Dads

    • Bereavement groups

    • High-Risk Pregnancy

  • These groups fill up fast, so try to register early. Instruct mom to join the waitlist, and more than likely a seat will open up.

  • These groups are incredible for moms who are struggling. There are so many special groups. Below is a full list. Always check these groups for moms and share the information with her.

Pregnancy Groups


At least once a week, especially in the beginning (during the first 3 weeks), make sure to invite moms to the Mammha support group, and depending on the mom and her circumstances, invite her to one of the other special groups listed above.
